Condoms
Unlike other forms of contraception, condoms can help to protect you against BOTH unplanned pregnancies AND Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs).

There are many different types of condoms; flavoured, ribbed, extra safe, performa and latex free. Some people have a latex allergy and ordinary condoms may cause irritation – don't worry, latex free condoms solve this problem! They are all safe to use for penetrative sex as long as they carry the British Standard Kite Mark or CE symbol. These marks show that the condoms have been tested to a high standard and are safe to use for sex.

You can get condoms free from sexual health services and agencies that are part of the C-card scheme.
